Al-Masry Al-Youm insults Gulf with outrageous cartoon

The pro-Egyptian regime newspaper, Al-Masry Al-Youm, published today a caricature by the cartoonsit Amru Saleem, which regional observers describe as a scathing insult to the governments and people of the Gulf states. The publication comes in the wake of the recent leaks concerning the Gulf funding of Egypt’s military-led regime.

The three-part cartoon titled ‘the Egyptian and the statelet’ affirmed the content of the recent leaks which exposed the demeaning attitude of the Egyptian authorities toward the Gulf states. The tiny statelets are depicted standing on bags of cash in order to speak to the giant Egypt. And in an apparent warning, the third segment of the cartoon shows the eclipse of the Gulf states after the end of their money.
