Syrian military source: We started using new weapons from Russia

The Syrian army has recently begun using new types of air and ground weapons supplied by Russia, A Syrian military source revealed yesterday.

The source described the weapons as being highly efficient and accurate. He said that the army began to use them over the past few weeks after being trained in Syria in the recent months.

In response to a question on Russia’s military support for Syria, the source said that there has been a supply of new types of weapons. The Syrian army is being trained on the use of these weapons and is now in fact beginning to use some of them.

He continued saying: “The weapons are highly effective and very accurate, and hit the targets precisely.”
