Israel has rejected a Jordanian offer to put Al-Aqsa Mosque under the control of the Jordanian Endowment and regain the status quo before the ongoing uprising began; Quds Press reported Israeli media sources as saying.

According to the Israeli news website Wallah, Jordan suggested regaining its control over Al-Aqsa Mosque but Israel refused.

Is this the Third Intifada?

Rising tensions in the Occupied Territories have led to dozens of deaths and hundreds of clashes.
Are we witnessing the Third Intifada?

Jordanian King Abdullah II, Wallah said, still refuses to meet Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu noting that the rejection of the Jordanian suggestion is the reason behind this.

Meanwhile, Egyptian President Abdel Fatah Al-Sisi has another view regarding the current situation. He is putting pressure on Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas to quell tensions without any preconditions, even without re-establishing the status quo.
