Hamas forms committee to follow up proposals for opening Rafah Crossing

Hamas yesterday announced that it has formed a follow up committee to discuss proposals for opening the Rafah Crossing, Al-Resalah newspaper reported.

Hamas spokesman Sami Abu Zuhri said his movement would cooperate with all national bodies to follow up on the issue of reopening the Rafah Crossing.

Palestinian factions have suggested national figures run the crossing and merge Palestinian Authority and Hamas workers together in order to administer and reopen Gaza’s main window to the world.
