July 14, 2016 at 11:14 am

Tunisia has denied rumours that it is preventing Libyans under the age of 35 from entering the country, the spokesperson for the Ministry of Interior said.

Speaking to Nesma TV, Yasser Musbah said the claims were unfounded.

The head of the Passport Control Department at the Ras Jedir crossing along the Libyan border also denied the rumours. Colonel Najmi Muammar said neither Libya nor Tunisia have taken steps to limit the movement of Libyans except those previously banned from travel.
