A Swedish diplomat said on Friday that the future of investment in Turkey is “bright”, it was reported by Anadolu Agency. Commercial Attaché Eric Freiburg made his comments to Swedish TV channel ETN. He revealed that there are around 130 to 140 Swedish companies investing in Turkey.
“After the failed coup attempt in Turkey,” Freiburg explained, “we conducted a comprehensive survey on these companies and found that they were not affected by the putsch. The survey showed that most of these companies are continuing their growth.”
Freiburg stressed that the situation in Turkey, especially on the political side, is quiet and “good for investment”. He ruled out any surge of political tension in the near future. “As such,” he added, “I can say that the future of investment in Turkey is bright.”
