Dunkin’ Donuts Egypt ad: ‘Blackness equals half beauty’

September 29, 2016 at 10:53 am

Dunkin’ Donuts Egypt released a picture of a doughnut covered in chocolate and one covered in sugar frosting with the following caption: “Blackness equals a half beauty. Whiteness equals total beauty. Because we are against racism we’ll eat both not just one. Which will you choose?”

The black community in Egypt have decried being subject to racist and discriminatory abuse.

The picture was met with disbelief and people took to social media to denounce the racist advert.
