The Palestinian Authority (PA) yesterday closed the private specialist Palestinian hospital in the central occupied city of Ramallah, Ma’an reported.
The news site said the Director of the Directorate of Health Wael El-Sheik ordered the closure of Musallam Specialty Hospital due to issues related to licences.

El-Sheikh said that the PA’s Ministry of Health had requested the hospital obtain the necessary licences but the hospital did not comply.
According to the minister, the hospital’s staff resigned after they failed to receive their salaries for a number of months.
