Muslim states should present a united front to protect the holy sites in Jerusalem, President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said Monday.

Erdogan, who has repeatedly backed the rights of worshippers to freely pray at Al-Aqsa Mosque, spoke to reporters in Istanbul just before setting off to Jordan for an official visit.

“I want to note the importance we put on the role of Jordan in the protection of the holy places in Jerusalem,” he said. “We don’t want to experience the same abuse, violation of rights and attacks.

“So, the Muslim world should be in solidarity on Jerusalem.”

Jordan is the custodian of the mosque compound in East Jerusalem, the third holiest site for Muslims. The site, known as the Temple Mount to Jews, is also venerated by Jews and Christians.

Last month, Israel imposed fresh security measures at Al-Aqsa following the killing of two police officers at the site. The measures, including metal detectors and cameras, led to renewed violence between Palestinians and security forces and led to outrage across the Muslim world.

Not a Muslim myself, yet I wholeheartedly agree. Muslims paying attention and valuing their heritage in Jerusalem and sending millions on the ground there will end the desecration and the demolishing of ancient historical sites. Only Muslims can do this. Not governments, Muslims. You all have to PROVE you care for not just Jerusalem but for Palestine. Same with Christians. The ONLY reason all this is happening is because none of us are standing up, going over there, mobilizing and doing something. Israel has no right to any inch of anything Christian nor Muslim or anything that is Canaanite in origin. It’s not biblical Israel, its man made cosplaying Israel that attacks the people of faith, violates them, perverts them, bastardizes their teachings and indoctrinates them.

Its a fascist state that Nazis love.

It would help that these “Muslim leaders” stop paying lip service. They condemn “israel” in the media but underhandedly it’s business as usual, trading, full diplomatic relations, etc. Sure Erdogan recalls his embassadors but when he and nutenyahoo kiss and make up, then restore diplomacy. Shun the delinquents and block off air and sea routes to and from “israel”!
