Israel MK: Palestinians’ ‘liability’ is that ‘they weren’t born Jews’

An Israeli parliamentarian has expressed his support for formal apartheid, backing the annexation of the entire West Bank but without its Palestinian inhabitants being granted the right to vote.

MK Miki Zohar, who is chair of the Knesset’s Special Committee for Distributive Justice and Social Equality, expressed his views in an interview with Haaretz newspaper.

“When we say to the Palestinians, ‘We are giving you a state, let’s make peace’ – it’s deceiving them,” Zohar told the paper.

“No one is going to give them a state, not the left either. I am saying: Let’s cut this problem off before it begins and stop with the lies. We’ll tell them: ‘Guys, no state, live here with us, prosper, earn a living, educate your children’.”

Asked whether he meant that Palestinians in an annexed West Bank would not vote in the Knesset elections, Zohar replied in the affirmative.

“We must always maintain control over the mechanisms of the state, as the Jewish people that received this country by right and not by an act of charity.”

Over the years it is very possible the Arabs could become the majority here, and I cannot take this risk.

According to Zohar, such views are “not extreme” but “realistic”.

He continued: “In my opinion, he [the Palestinian] doesn’t have the right to national identity, because he does not own the land of this country.”

“I want him as a resident by virtue of my own sense of fairness – because he was born here and lives here, I will not tell him to leave. I’m sorry to say this, but they have one conspicuous liability: They weren’t born Jews.”

With respect to Palestinians with Israeli citizenship, Zohar said: “They will have to choose if they are loyal to the state”, based on three conditions: “national service; recognition of the Israeli flag, which would fly above every public institution; and recognizing Israel as a Jewish and democratic state.”

“And this would not be the decision of an individual, but of a public authority. If they can’t meet these criteria, they would no longer be able to vote for the Knesset.”

I love the smell of hypocrisy in the morning!!

And a short memo the US government; the American people have gotten sick and tired of US aid, both financial and military, “never being enough” for this wretchedly apartheid, self-declared theocracy with nuclear weapons which is what Israel has become in the 21st century.

As you are aware (or should be aware) all aid to Israel is completely illegal under the Symington Amendment, which prohibits any aid from going to a nuclear armed country which refuses to become signatory to the NNPT, and refuses to have its nuclear facilities inspected.

Israel comes in at a big fat zero-compliance on both issues, so what is the deal here, please?!?

The victim card has been played once too often by an Israeli government which spits in the face of US officials, and tells them it’s raining.

And did I mention serial genocide against the Palestinians, coupled with brisk annexations of property in the West Bank and East Jerusalem? The Israeli government will not listen to anything approaching a two state solution; it wants territory, and to get rid of as many Palestinians as it thinks it can, and by any means necessary.

It is high time for all US aid, both military and financial, to stop now, because this is the only language the Israeli government understands.

No more wars for the crap hole state of Israel. And, that is PRECISELY what this greasy neocon obsession to drag the US military into Syria is all about.

No more wars FOR ISRAEL. Instead, let’s wage war ON ISRAEL and wipe these evil snakes off the face of the planet.

      Spoken like a true jihadi!

BTW we see Israel as an investment, you do know that the majority of aid given Israel comes back ya?

What we are sick of is giving money to these Muslim nations that give nothing but terror in return.

Did you know Israel is listed as one of the top ten in the world for producing advanced medicines and technologies?

Can you name just one Muslim nation that can say the same?
There are over 50 and most have more resources and wealth then little Israel has….You can’t name one can you….

So here we have our friend Israel who contributes to the betterment of humanity and over by you we have hate and terror.

Our medicine and XV Century renaissance in Europe was also inspired by Muslim countries and their technologies. The problem is much more complex. Israel got all its nuclear technologies from France and uSA in the 60s….Today money is given to Israel for research and testing…Look into what Pax Judaica means…
