The Israeli police have postponed an investigation due to be held yesterday into the corruption charges faced by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. He is reported to have a health problem.

According to the Times of Israel, the police investigation with Netanyahu will “probably take place by the end of this week.” He is being investigated, along with his wife and eldest son Yair, in what is known as Corruption Case 4000.

The newspaper did not provide details of the nature of the problem which has incapacitated Netanyahu. On Sunday, however, the Israeli cabinet’s weekly meeting was cancelled as a result of the Prime Minister’s health.
