The Israeli army has killed 25 Palestinian children in the occupied West Bank and the Gaza Strip since the beginning of this year, according to Defence for Children International – Palestine (DCI-P).

Of the 25 minor killed by occupation forces, 21 were targeted in the besieged Gaza Strip, the organisation revealed.

The association added that the Israeli army "intentionally killed children by using live ammunition".

"The Israeli army continues to escalate its use of lethal force and live bullets against Palestinian children who pose no direct threat to it," the organisation said.
