The PA will also pay for Gazan ministries to take over management responsibilities and cancel the taxes imposed on the fuel supplies for the electricity plant.

According to the informed source, the Palestinian factions will have five weeks to form a national unity government. This would absorb all the civil employees recruited by Hamas during its control of Gaza.Fatah and the PA have accused Hamas of undermining its work in Gaza, but Hamas has denied these accusations.

Last year, the PA imposed sanctions on the Gaza Strip. These included salary cuts, stopping medical transfers, and cuts to funding of Gazan ministries .
