Hundreds of Palestinians took part in protests today as part of the “Great March of Return”, Organisers said the next stage of protests “will be stronger and more popular in adherence to the goals and the principles of our people”.
Adding that the march “is continuing towards achieving its tactical objectives of breaking the siege and ending the suffering of our people in the Gaza Strip as a necessity to continue our struggle on the road to achieving the strategic goals of return and independence.”
More than 22,000 Palestinians have been injured since the protests began on 30 March with over 220 killed by Israeli sniper fire and tear gas inhalation.
