French delegation conduct 16 surgeries in occupied Gaza

A French medical delegation has conducted 16 different surgeries during their visit to Al-Shifa Hospital in the occupied Gaza Strip, local media reported yesterday.

The delegation was reported to have consisted of three doctors, including the French Anesthesiologist, Christophe Donnet, and the orthopedic and peripheral neurosurgery consultant, Hasan Rafi.

Al-Shifa’s head of neurosurgery department, Ashraf Al-Baya’a, called for “continuation of the French visits,” adding that they helped in the hospital staff’s surgical and diagnostic skills improvement.
