Daesh has issued a travel advisory for its members to stay away of coronavirus-hit Europe, described the area as “the land of the epidemic”.
According to the Sunday Times, the group’s most recent newsletter Al Naba refers to a new set of “sharia directives” warning against travel to Europe.
In a change from calls for its members to attack European targets, the group warned people may get ill as a result of the spread of coronavirus and not be able to leave the area after being placed in quarantine.
The “healthy should not enter the land of the epidemic and the afflicted should not exit from it”, Al Naba advised. It also instructs followers to “cover their mouths when yawning and sneezing” and to wash their hands regularly.
