Hamas organised a campaign to disinfect a number of homes, institutions and public facilities in Al-Shati refugee camp, west of Gaza City, as a precautionary measure to confront the coronavirus.

A Hamas leader in Gaza, Naseem Yassin, said the campaign targets all homes in the western Gaza City area as well as religious institutions, markets and public facilities.

Yassin added that the campaign aims to protect the people against the spread of the coronavirus, noting that flyers will be distributed with information about the virus and recommendations to prevent its spread.
