September 20, 2021 at 3:45 pm

Palestinian driver Samir Mujahid survived a murder attempt after an Israeli man tried to strangle him with his seatbelt in Jerusalem on 20 September 2021

A Jerusalemite taxi driver survived a murder attempt by an Israeli man in Occupied Jerusalem this morning, the Palestinian Information Center reported.

Sources in the occupied city said that the Israeli man tried to strangle Palestinian driver Samir Mujahid with his seatbelt.

The driver managed to free himself and survived with minor bruises, they added.

A group of Israeli settlers stabbed a Palestinian bus driver in Jerusalem three days ago. The driver Mohammed Abu Nab survived with moderate wounds.

According to human rights groups, incidents of violence by extremist Jewish settlers against Palestinians and their properties are a daily occurrence in the occupied territories. Little is done by occupation forces to bring the perpetrators of such crimes to justice.
