India & Israel mark British capture of Haifa in 1918

Indian soldiers attended a ceremony held in Israel last week to mark the British Indian Army's capture of Haifa in 1918 from the Ottomans. During the First World War, the Ottomans allied themselves with the Germans and fought against the British who succeeded in capturing Palestine before handing it over to Zionist leaders.
