Ceasefire ‘will not be supported by the UK government’

Minister of the Tory government rejected a ‘ceasefire in Gaza’ amendment put forward by Zarah Sultana, member of the Labour party. He clarified that regardless of the parliament position, the UK government is not going to support such an amendment. Sultana presented her tabled amendment for the king’s speech, with a speech highlighting the volume of casualties and the statistics of children death toll. She highlighted the ‘end of bloodshed’ as the goal of ceasefire; which she remarked was supported by 76% of the British public.
