Lula da Silva highlights the Palestinian suffering on his visit to Colombia

Brazilian President Lula da Silva continues to advocate for the rights of the Palestinian people of Gaza. He highlights the suffering of the most vulnerable in Gaza as women and children die in their thousands in civilian areas and not in combat. Da Silva faced a lot of international criticism and pressure as the diplomatic ties between Brazil and Israel were severed after Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that Lula crossed the red lines. Da Silva continues to call out Israel on its crimes in Gaza saying: ‘If this is not genocide, I don’t know what is.’
