The Gaza Civil Defence Agency said yesterday that it had received 200 reports of missing Palestinians following the withdrawal of Israeli occupation forces from eastern Khan Yunis, Al Resalah website reported.
It said occupation forces continue to hinder access to rescue services leaving civilians to die under the rubble of their homes after air strikes, which is a clear and explicit violation of basic rights and the right to save lives.
They urged citizens to avoid moving in eastern Khan Younis due to the presence of explosive ordnance left behind by Israeli occupation forces, which could further increase the number of human casualties.
According to the Government Media Office, more than 300 homes had been hit by Israeli fire during the eight-day raid of eastern Khan Yunis, with at least 30 of them inhabited when they were struck.
