Hamas yesterday condemned the Israeli army’s actions in Beit Lahia, including its targeting of Kamal Adwan Hospital and the bombing of civilians, and the lack of action to stop such attacks by the international community, Quds Press reported.

The movement described these acts as “repeated Zionist disregard for international laws amidst the disgraceful failure of the international system to put an end to these horrific crimes, which occur around the clock.”

In a statement the movement said that despite international arrest warrants being issued against war criminals Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his former Defence Minister Yoav Gallant, Israel continues to demolish neighbourhoods and residential blocks, forcibly displacing people from their homes – actions it described as “an unprecedented war crime and ethnic cleansing in modern history.”

Hamas further asserted that the crimes of the Israeli army are taking place “under the full protection and support of the US administration and some Western capitals, which embolden the occupation and reflect complicity in the ongoing genocide in the Gaza Strip.”

The movement reiterated its call to Arab and Islamic governments, the United Nations and its agencies to take urgent steps to end the blockade and the war of extermination against the Palestinian people in northern provinces and across the Gaza Strip.
