Some 82 Palestinians were killed by Israeli occupation forces in Jerusalem over the past 14 months and 2,000 were detained, the Jerusalem Governorate said in a report yesterday, according to the Palestinian Information Centre.

It added that in the period between 7 October 2023 and 7 December 2024 around 282 Palestinians in Jerusalem were wounded by Israel.

A further 111 Palestinians were held under house arrest during that period.

Some 402 demolitions were carried out across the governorate, while 124 deportation orders were issued.

Meanwhile, 64,869 Jewish settlers broke Al-Aqsa Mosque during that period, the report concluded.

Israeli occupation authorities have imposed tight restrictions on Jerusalem and its inhabitants, including movement restrictions and semi-daily raids into various Arab neighbourhoods since the start of the Israeli aggression on Gaza in October 20223.
