Syria: First Friday prayer at Umayyad Mosque after regime fall

Yesterday Syrians gathered at the Umayyad Mosque for the first Friday prayer after the collapse of the 61-year-long Ba'ath regime. People also gathered at Umayyad Square and its surroundings as they celebrated the collapse of the Assad regime waving the ‘Syrian revolution flags’ and chanting slogans calling for the country's freedom and a ‘new Syria’.
