Gaza soup kitchens strained 60 days into full Israeli blockade
Sixty days into a complete Israeli blockade, soup kitchens across Gaza are buckling under the weight of unprecedented demand, as food supplies dwindle and humanitarian aid remains completely cut off. With crossings sealed and local agriculture devastated by Israel's ongoing war on the besieged territory, many of Gaza's Palestinian residents have to travel for miles every day in search of something to eat.
