Israeli settlers attack and burn house, injuring children in West Bank village

Israeli settlers attacked and burned a house in Sinjil, a village to the north of Ramallah in the West Bank, during the early morning hours on Thursday. Five children were rushed to hospital for suffocation from inhaling the smoke.

Sinjil's mayor Ayoub Swaied told Al-Quds news agency that: "The settlers have stormed the village and burned a house near Nablus Street. Five children suffocated and were rushed to a hospital in Ramallah. "

Swaied continued that, "the village residents and civil defence forces arrived to the area to extinguish the fire. Israeli army patrols are also in the area."
