Egyptian aviation sector faced $200 million losses in 2013

A senior official at the Egyptian Federation for Private Aviation told Anadolu news agency that the losses in the private aviation sector in Egypt over the past year amounted to $200 million due to the decreased share of private aviation travellers to Egypt, which plummeted from 7 per cent in 2012 to roughly 4 per cent in 2013.

Inbound tourism fell from 11.3 million tourists in 2012, to 9.5 million in 2013, the official said.
