Palestinian novelist: Israel is establishing divisions between the Arabs

July 3, 2014 at 2:00 pm

Palestinian novelist Bushra Abu Sharar said Israel wants to establish strategic divisions in the Arab world and specifically in Syria and the Sinai, pointing out that “this enemy does not sleep and it is fighting us in the air, water and land”.

Abu Sharar said, during an interview with the Women in Politics show which will be aired this evening on Al-Ghad Al-Arabi TV: “The Arab world will achieve victory over this enemy soon; whenever the Arab countries combine their efforts, the Israeli Zionist enemy panics.”

She added: “The Arab world is currently recovering from its diseases and preparing to produce new Arab generation.

“We must sacrifice to reach the glory and dignity of the Arab world.”

Commenting on the situation in Syria, Abu Sharar stressed that what has happened to the Syrian people is shameful to all humanity when nearly nine million people have been displaced by the conflict and hundreds of thousands were killed.

“We do not want someone like President Bashar Al-Assad in power, but we want the return of the state and its components, and this was clearly evident in the recent elections won by Assad,” she explained. “The large number of Syrians who participated in this election has worried the West.”

All Syrian sects have paid for what is happening in Syria now, she said.
