UAE revokes citizenship of hundreds of families

The United Arab Emirates has revoked the citizenship of hundreds of families, informed sources told Al-Sharq newspaper.

The national security services in Abu Dhabi approved the list of hundreds of citizens whose Emirati nationality has been revoked, the sources added. The list includes entire families, who are required to “return all their travel documents voluntarily or they will be taken from them by force.”

The identities of the families or the reason for the move are still unknown.
