An Israeli court has extended the detention of an Arab woman from Haifa on charges of spying for the Palestinian resistance and contacting a foreign collaborator, Al-Araby Al-Jadid reported on Friday.
The woman was identified as Nasreen Hassan, 40, who is married to a Palestinian from the Gaza Strip. She is used to moving between Haifa and Gaza.
According to Israeli media reports, Hassan faces charges of “assisting the enemy during wars, handing over information to the enemy aimed at harming the state, spying in favour of an enemy during war, contacting a foreign collaborator and joining an illegal organisation.”
The public prosecutor also accused the Israeli-Palestinian of taking part in military training run by Al-Mujahideen Brigades, taking video footage of strategic sites in Israel and accepting a request to carry out a resistance operation inside Israel.
