The total external financial support to the Palestinian Authority has declined by 71 percent since 2008; Turkey’s Anadolu Agency reported the International Monetary Fund (IMF) saying.
Speaking in Ramallah, IMF representative in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip Ragnar Gudmundsson explained that external support for the Palestinian Authority has declined from about $2.7 billion in 2008 to $800 million in 2015.
The total external financial support to the Palestinian budget reached nearly $592 million, since the start of this year until September.
Palestinian Finance Minister Shukri Bishara told Anadolu earlier that financial grants for the current year will not exceed $800 million.
