The Beni Suef Criminal Court temporarily adjourned the trial of the Supreme Guide of the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt Mohammed Badie and 92 other members of the group.
Judge Ahmed Ibrahim announced the decision after Badie screamed from his glass cage demanding he be allowed to meet with his defence team before the trial.
Attorney General Tamer Al-Khatib charged 93 members of the group, including Badie, with arson for setting fire to the Beba Police Station, court, school and prosecution buildings.
The trial resumed yesterday.
