Turkey has hit eight Daesh targets as part of “Operation Euphrates Shield” in northern Syria, the military said today.
The Turkish General Staff said in a statement that today’s airstrikes were carried out near Aleppo province’s city of Al-Bab.
“Operation Euphrates Shield” began in late August to rid Syria’s northern border area of terrorists. It is now in its 92nd day.
Over 215 residential areas, including more than 1,800 square kilometers of land in northern Syria have been cleared of Daesh terrorists as part of the operation so far.
