Israel Police beat a Jewish minor in a demonstration in Jerusalem

An ultra-Orthodox Jewish boy was beaten by Israel Police on 2 June 2017 as he took part in anti-constription demonstrations in Jerusalem. Orthodox Jews believe army service is a “deviation” from their religious duties.
