Houthi forces attack Saudi warship

Houthi forces attacked a Saudi warship on the southwestern coast of Mocha, Yemen Agency News reported.

Forces loyal to former President, Ali Abdullah Saleh, and the popular committees units aided the attack on the Saudi warship. The warship was attacked with advanced weaponry, a military source confirmed to Tasnim News.

The leader of the Houthis claimed that the warship was carrying out hostile acts off the coast of Mocha.

A Saudi-led coalition entered the Yemen conflict in March 2015 with the aim of reinstating President Abd Rabbuh Mansur Hadi and pushing back military advancements towards the southern by the Houthis.
