A prominent Egyptian TV host, Lamis Elhadidi, has launched an attack on the Saudi journalist, Jamal Khashoggi, over his recent tweets on Egypt’s Al-Wahat attack, in which dozens of Egyptian police soldiers were killed and wounded.

Responding to Khashoggi’s tweets, in which he called for resolving what he described as “the Egyptian security system issues,” Elhadidi said in her TV programme, Hona Al’asema (here is the Capital), aired on Egypt’s CBS TV channel, that “gloating at the time of death comes from meanness people.”

“Al-Wahat massacre requires a thorough inspection by the military regarding what has happened in Egypt,” Kashoggi tweeted, adding that “it also requires Egyptian regime’s allies to work together to solve the situation.”
