Jordan has asked the Palestinian Authority (PA) President Mahmoud Abbas not to monopolise decisions related to the Palestinian cause as Jordan is also a key defender of Palestinian rights, Quds Net News Agency reported yesterday.
According to Quds Net Jordanian sources stressed that Jordan must not be excluded from regional discussions led by Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and the United States, in relation to the deal of the century which had reportedly been approved by other Middle Eastern countries.
“Jordan stands firmly against the attempts to undermine legitimate Palestinian rights, mainly the right to maintain Jerusalem as the capital of an Arab Palestinian state,” the sources told Quds Net. “Jordan is taking these threats seriously.”
