Videos broadcast on Iranian TV yesterday showed anti-Saudi phrases written on rockets launched by Iran's Revolutionary Guards at "terrorists" in Syria, Al-Wattan Voice reported.

The phrases read: "Death to America, death to Israel and death to Al Saud" in reference to the ruling family of Saudi Arabia.

"Fight the followers of Satan" was also written on the ballistic missiles, in a quote from the Muslim holy book the Quran.

Iran regularly includes anti-US and anti-Israel slogans on its rockets however this appears to be the first time that anti-Saudi slogans were included.

Iran regularly targets groups in Syria as part of its campaign to support the country's President Bashar Al-Assad.
