Palestinians have the right to establish sea and air ports in the besieged Gaza Strip, Dr. Essam Yousef, head of the Popular International Committee to Support Gaza, said.

“The port and airport will serve all the Palestinians. When the Gaza Strip wins, it wins for all the Palestinian people because it will not give up on the West Bank and Jerusalem,” he said during a gathering to condemn the Israeli blockade of Gaza held yesterday.

Yousef stressed on the need for Palestinians to unite and on the Palestinian Authority to stop punishing Gaza employees and residents by cutting their salaries.

Israeli imposes an immoral and illegal siege on the Gaza Strip, Yousef continued, and constructs an “apartheid wall” in the West Bank and the occupied city of Jerusalem while continuing to steal the Palestinian land.

He saluted the Palestinian people at home and abroad, stressing that their cause is one and their enemy, the Israeli occupation, is also one.

“The Palestinian people are oppressed and have the right to stand in the face of the occupation and resist it in every way possible, as approved by UN resolutions,” he said.

Yousef’s Miles Of Smiles 35 humanitarian solidarity convoy arrived in the besieged Gaza Strip on Sunday through Egypt to provide urgent aid, especially medicine and fuel, to Palestinians.
