This came as so-called ‘Temple Mount’ groups announced an award of 500 shekel ($140) for every Jew who blows the trumpet inside Al-Aqsa Mosque.
Felesteen newspaper reported that 116 Israeli Jewish settlers raided Al-Aqsa Mosque on Sunday and performed Jewish religious rituals in the east area of the Muslim holy site.
Some 4,821 Israeli Jewish settlers raided Al-Aqsa Mosque in September; with figures peaking during the Jewish New Year on 26-27 September.
