Israel has paid a ‘heavy price’ during ground operation in Gaza, says defence minister

Israeli forces have paid a ‘heavy price’ during their ground operation in the Gaza Strip despite making ‘significant’ achievements, Israel’s Defence Minister Yoav Gallant said during a meeting at Israel’s Palmachim Air Base, as the Israeli army announced that 11 soldiers were killed and others were seriously wounded in battles in the northern Gaza Strip.
