Under cover of Gaza war, Israeli settler violence ramps up in West Bank

As global attention is focused on the besieged Gaza Strip, a disturbing surge in settler violence has been observed in the occupied West Bank, with the backing of Israeli forces. This has been coupled with intensified efforts to displace vulnerable Palestinian communities with raids on refugee camps, bulldozers destroying roads, violence against farmers and the burning of olive trees and Palestinian properties.
