UK MP denounces country’s refusal to support UN ceasefire in Gaza

UK MP Richard Burgon said the UK’s refusal to back a UN resolution seeking a ceasefire in Gaza last week is ‘a failure of moral leadership.’ The motion, supported by almost all 15 UN Security Council members, was vetoed by the US on Friday, with the UK abstaining.
