Khan Yunis: 'Everywhere you turn you see destruction'
MEMO’s correspondent in Gaza, Mohammed Asad, found scenes of utter destruction across Khan Yunis today. ‘Wherever you turn you see destruction. The city lies in complete ruins,’ he said. Palestinian residents have tried to return to their homes after Israeli occupation forces withdrew from the area but the destruction there is immense and people have struggled to locate their properties.. ‘The military vehicles that operated here ravaged the houses,’ he explained.
