The 6th of April Youth Movement has condemned the appearance of General Hussein Tantawi, the former Chairman of the Supreme Council of the Armed Forces, next to Defence Minister General Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi during the victory celebrations of the October War, describing him as a “murderer”.

The movement tweeted: “The murder scene from yesterday during the victory celebrations of the October war, the use of military vehicles against the Egyptian people and the appearance of the murderer Tantawi standing next to Al-Sisi, gives the rebels the responsibility to protect the homeland.”

The 6th of April Movement confirmed that it did not participate in any demonstrations or celebrations yesterday to protect the movement from further polarization and division.
