High level Muslim Brotherhood delegation visit Gaza


A high level delegation from the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt arrived in the Gaza Strip on Saturday 29 October.

The delegation visited the headquarters of the Council of Ministers in Gaza city where they commended the government and Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) for their successful conclusion of the prisoner exchange deal. The delegation included the deputy supreme guide of the Muslim Brotherhood, Jumu'a Amin, as well as Muhammad Wahdan and Hazim Mansour.

Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh presented an award to the delegation as a token of appreciation. The Egyptian delegation then visited the parliament building where the freed prisoners, parliamentarians as a number of Palestinian leaders were in attendance. Jumu'a Amin congratulated the entire Palestinian people and affirmed Egyptian support for the Palestinian cause.
