As part of a week-long series of activities in solidarity with the four Arab Jerusalemite MPs currently seeking refuge at the international Red Cross Centre in Jerusalem, a campaign has been launched to highlight the threat of deportation by the they Israeli authorities have faced for just over a year now.

In Gaza, Palestinian ministers held a conference outside the Red Cross compound, calling on all Palestinians to stand up against the repressive measures imposed on the MPs.

The four MPs have continuously campaigned against the judaisation and destruction of important and historic Palestinian and Islamic monuments and sites in Jerusalem. The Palestinian government in Gaza has tasked the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to communicate and liaise with regional and international bodies working in the Palestinian territories, including the Arab League, the Organisation of Islamic Conference, and the United Nations to address the issue of the MPs.
