At least 25 people have been killed and dozens more wounded in airstrikes on a building used by an insurgent group formerly known as the Nusra Front, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said today

The UK-based right group said it was unclear whether the strikes had been carried out by an aircraft belonging to Russia or to the US-led coalition.

Today is the fifth day of a ceasefire in Syria but its sponsors, Russia and Turkey, say this excludes Daesh and the Syrian Islamist militia Jabhat Fateh Al-Sham, formerly called the Nusra Front.

Opposition groups which are to  take part in peace talks scheduled after the start of the ceasefire today revealed that they pulled out because of violations to the terms of the truce.
