Jordan and the PA deny holding intelligence meeting with Israel

Jordan and the Palestinian Authority have denied holding a meeting with an Israeli intelligence official in the resort city of Aqaba, Donia Al-Wattan news website reported on Friday.

The denial has been issued even though the French website Intelligence Online revealed that the directors of the Israeli, Jordanian and PA intelligence agencies had indeed held a secret meeting in Aqaba. The three apparently discussed ways to push ahead with the US peace plan for the region, the so-called "deal of the century".
